If marketing gurus of the film industry are to be believed, making appearances on TV shows and embarking on multi-city tours are not the only promotional strategies being adopted. Marketing teams are now weaving promos around the film’s theme.
So it isn’t really surprising to see Amitabh Bachchan and Boman Irani promote their film, ‘Bhootnath Returns’, by making public appearances in their character getups.
For film promotion Shah Rukh did something that you might not believe. Shah Rukh himelf sold tickets at the booking window of a Mumbai cinema. Yup that is true. On the opening day of 1994 movie Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, directed by Kundan Shah. SRK was paid a sum total of Rs 25,000 for the film.

2. Restaurant in Dariya Ganj.
Many Bollywood actors have branched out into alternate business. Most do it to have something more stable to fall back on.
Anirban Das Blah, managing director at KWAN Entertainment and Marketing Solutions, says, “They generally get into business to make sure that they do not have to depend solely on the success or failure of their films.”
An industry source says, “A lot of these ventures also run on OPM (other people’s money). Most stars put their own moolah in these ventures. Shah Rukh Khan has not invested anything in IPL. He is a smart chap. He knows how to use his brand name.”
Before becoming the star, Shah Rukh Khan ran a restaurant in Dariya Ganj which is in New Delhi. He ran his this restaurant for a very brief moment of time. No wonder why he loves food and coffee too much. He loves caffeine and he is chain smoker too. He got an offer for the role and he instantly left his restaurant and went to catch his dreams.

Shah Rukh Khan also owns a series of BMW cars including the very latest models of BMW. Any rich and famous cannot afford to do without a BMW series and Shahrukh Khan is no exception.
He owns a BMW7 series which is a full-size luxury vehicle produced by the German automaker. The car is only available in sedan and features 3.0 L and 3.5 L straight-6 engines respectively. Apart from owning a BMW7 series SRK also owns a BMW 6 series which was successor to the E9 coupés.
The car was launched in 2003 that emphasized on performance rather than looks. Khan’s car has a removable top and is powered with V8 and V10-engine. The car has choices of either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic “Steptronic”. The car also holds a record of second most expensive car sold in US in 2010.

4. Brawl with Anupam Kher?
We all are well aware of the brawl between Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan. But ever wondered who was his first brawl with?
During the shooting of the movie ‘Darr’ he had his first brawl. Many of the co-stars and other members of the crew believed that Shah Rukh and Anupam Kher had a fight between them and Anupam Kher injured him intentionally.
Shah Rukh fractured his two ribs. But this was not true. During the stunt scene, Shah Rukh fractured his two ribs while performing a stunt with Anupam Kher on the set of the movie, Darr. During the stunt Anupam Kher raised his leg, which hit Shah Rukh’s chest and he got injured. Anupam Kher said this was not done intentionally. He mistakenly lifted his leg which hit Shah Rukh Khan and got him severely injured.
